fLeM911
im asking this because someone said replace the one in the JK2 directory with the one in the system32 directory... but i don't have an openAL32.dll file in my system32 directory. Should i have one?
netskimmer
I think you have it backwards, I've heard a few people suggest copying openAL32.dll from JO and putting it in your sys32 directory. Didn't work for me though
jasho
From what I understand. OpenAL32.dll is a file specifying EAX sound. RAVEN has stated that this option has not been fully tested so the option in the .cfg file should be set to 0. Apparently, the Windows XP version is older than the one shipped with JO. It is not necessary to copy the file over unless you are getting sound problems.
