Johnny Rockets Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 Okay, i'm always a client, now I have a server, up and running but i really dont know where to start, equipment, Athlon 1200tb 256mb vc ram 20gbata1007200hd 2 systems sharing adsl behind a 3com gateway/firewall(3c510) now i can play on my lan but i figure theres something I have to do to allow players thur my firewall correct? help!
Novus Posted April 9, 2002 Posted April 9, 2002 Open up incoming port 28070 or forward all packets destined for 28070 to your server. You might also have to configure the firewall to let outgoing traffic w/ a source of 28070 pass. If you don't know how to do this RTFM, or call 3com tech support.
