Crashing, freezing, slow loading jedi.

I am struggling.

I have managed in the last week to solve the OpenGL problems and even the slow loading times to a reasonable extent.

However, now i have a problem with crashing. On the the third level (the swamp factory thing), I reach a stage where I enter the compound and go down a lift. At the bottom of the the lift is a door containing a room full of troopers, etc. The game just crashes right then and there every time.

This lift also has an open shaft midway. I have tried using it as an alternative but the same problem happens.

I know my computer has the BARE minimum specifications, but i should still be able to run the game without all this fuss.

My specifications are:

Pentium 3 450Mhz,

VooDoo 3Dfx 2 8Mb,

64Mb RAM.

P.S Shame on Lucasarts for allowing a title that is clearly not ready to be released.

its the voodoo card. jo has very little support for 3,4, and 5 and i cant imagine how many incompatabilities for a voodoo 2. on top of that your other specs seem boderline. i would suggest investing for a new 3d card and perhaps more ram. voodoo 2 is very old and im supprised you can get the game working at all (no offence)

well jo requires at least 16 meg video card. video card requirements are a biggie with the quake 3 engine... especially with some of the newer tweaks games are giving to it.

the reason for the crashing might be that its just too much graphics for your card to handle...

try wicked gl
