When I play JK 2 (even on british servers - which is where im from) i get a minimum of around 350. I have a P3 600 Mhz, 128 Mb RAM, GeForce 256 and I run it on 800x600. Heretk Posted April 14, 2002 Share Posted April 14, 2002 Yes, your Internet connection is the bottleneck here. Also, the particular game plays a factor. Since UT and Quake don't have Force powers or detailed melee combat, there is less data to push when in multiplayer. The system overhead for a game like JK2 is relatively high. You will get the best ping from a fast server, that has fewer players logged on. Time of day is important too. Lol. I used to have to worry about things like that, that is until I got a broadband connection I have the bare minimum system specs for this game and MP is still a breeze!
