pls help me. No sky in the singleplayer

I´ve already searched the forums but I couldn´t find any threats with people having the same problem.

 

Every time I play the Singleplayerpart of the game I have no sky. All I see is a yellow/white sky without any details. Its similiar to the "low quality sky" in rtcw or q3. I couldn´t find any options how to enable or disable the skydetails in the videoptions.

 

I also searched the config and tried to set fastsky from 1 to 0 but it didn´t work.

 

any1 out there who can help me? thx alot

if you are using a nvidia card, kenn hoekstra said that the latest detonator drivers cause the sky to look strange. he suggested using 23.11, but thats all i've heard on the issue

I´m using a geforce2 pro on a win2k pro sp2 machine with detos 23.11 installed.

 

Pls give me some answers. I hate to play the game with highdetails but a ugly sky

Try this.

 

While at the game's menu screen, press shift + tilde (~) to bring down the console window. Then type the following into the console:

 

r_fastsky "0"

 

Press enter and the sky issue should be resolved. I hope this helps...
