Cant recieve list of Multiplayer games!

the first time i installled jedi knight2 on this computer everything worked fine, i registered it and everything, but i had to uninstall and reinstall JK2 cause i was fiddling around with some mod stuff. and now i reinstalled JK2 i cant get the list of servers anymore where as before it would work fine, i can still see my old list of favorites but nothing new... can someone pretty please help me out?

I had the same problem until I realized I'd set my firewall not to bug me about new programs wanting out to the net. I allowed JK2 access and I had my servers. Hope your problem is as easily solved.

cool that might have isolated the problem, now can u pls let me know how i can access to the firewall setup? im not sure if i even have a firewall but with all these WinXP updates there's bound to be something i can do.

I started to go into a MP CTF game last night and my phone rang so I left the active list sitting idle for about 20 minutes while I was on the phone. When I sat back down at my PC I tried to refresh the list all I got was the info at the bottom saying "Looking for server info..." and the list remained empty. I quit the game and reentered and I also rebooted my machine with no effect. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game but as I kept my games and settings I did not expect that to do much. I have been playing JK2 in MP for over a week and have had no problems getting a server list at any time. Any ideas as to why this would suddenly happen and how I can fix it?
