Prox Kolari
Hi all. I was testing a skin I made, and I noticed that, when viewed from the front, the Prisoner model has an open seam on either cheek, through which you can see what's behind him. Has anyone else noticed this? It can't be my skin, because I'm seeing it on the default prisoner as well.

Prox Kolari
so you're saying it went away somehow?
SkataN
Wanna know the problem? Prisoner has two different faces. The prisoners head doesn't exactly fit perfectly onto face02.tga....so all you need to do is fill in the wholes with paint.
Foxbatkllr
I've seen this problem before with Galak. I fixed it by clicking the button that changes the view angle and also seems to make all the textures line up better. I'm not sure what the button is called but it's on the right side at the top of ModView.
Prox Kolari
That may work in ModView, but in game the problem remains. And I think you were closer on that head1/head2 thing, but I copied my new face to both, filled in all possible holes, and the problem's still there. It's almost like the model itself is poorly fitted. I need to experiment more, like making the whole image a solid color and see if there's still a gap... Prox Kolari
Better question: the prisoner has two faces, right? How do you force one or the other? Is only one used in multiplayer? I've been testing my skin and found that, without apparent reason, sometimes the face looks good and sometimes the dimensions are messed up, like the eye models are too big. Are there two sets of head *models* for the prisoner or am I tripping? I really want to fix this gap problem.
