Rescued Lando (and met Reelo Baruk but not faught) and found Lando's Ship - now where

Hey,

 

I've rescued Lando from his prison (after talking to Reelo Baruk when he's up in his room thing), and me and Lando have found his escape ship - now what the heck do I do?!

 

I'm outside again, and killed all enemies, but all the doors are locked so I can't go any further. Any hints or help would be appreciated!

It's time to use the Force, Luke!! I assume that you've destroyed those annoying gun turrets. Well, look where they are; that's where you want to be, sooooooo, just jump up there. It's easier than it looks. Holding down jump will help you get higher.

 

This caused me no end of frustration until I saw what to do here.
