JediDrew
There is a key to activate items. I'm not sure what the default is (I think it's spacebar), but just look through all the bindings until you find something it.
MattCoz
it's called 'USE'
Threetall
Read the manual. Its CTRL. Some smaller things must be "sighted" in the crosshairs to be used.
RowenaR
um... no, it's not... at least not at my version... i wish it was since it would make things easier... but thank for answering, anyway...
Threetall
the other use key is E. I will emphasize the targetting off items to use. You have be close to them and be sighted right on them.
jason-alaska
The default USE key is the Ctrl key I think. For doors and pads you must stand in front of the switch and hit your Ctrl key while looking at the area you want to interact with. In the case of Guns or cameras you're controling, SPACE bar will get you out of them when your done. Good luck!
Almight Kerjo
Or you could hit Esc, go into settings, and set your own keys.
Valdarious
Are you in third person while doing this? Try using switches in first person and keep your crosshair on the switch when you hit E or CTRL
