Weird graphics problem

First of all, here's my system:

 

p4 1.9 northwood

512MB rdram

geforce3ti 200 28.32 drivers

max JK2 graphics settings, 1024x768 res

... and the rest is irrelevant i think

 

I realize that the 28.32 drivers are technically unsupported (why, I don't know), but I only had one problem. The sky didn't have any detail in it at all. Everything else looked great as far as I could tell, but I might have been missing some details and not known about it (the sky problem was totally obvious to me). Anyway, all I did to fix the problem was to set the JK2 graphics settings to High (800x600, max everything) and then set the resolution back to 1024x768, and it seemed to fix the problem. I'm not sure though, because I was on the Reelo city level at the time and the sky was just black before and after, but I loaded an old save game on artus topside and the sky definitely looked normal. Are there supposed to be stars in the sky on the Reelo city levels? I didn't see any stars before or after. I just hope the flat sky problem doesn't come back. I think I'll try installing the 23.11 drivers tonight to see if I can see any stars. Thanks,
