I enjoy the movies, but I'm not what you would consider a 'Big Fan'. Just love the action.....I'm more of a (Gasp!) Trek fan......;)

 

 

Sabers rule, for gunplay I'll play Q3 or HL.......

Just don't go starting any Picard vs Vader debates or Death Star vs Enterprise crap :) hahaha

 

I would modify the above poll choices if I could...in retrospect, I'm not trying to divide the group into 'Big Fan' and 'not a Big Fan', but really whether the Star Wars tie in was a big factor for you getting the game or not.

i am not very big of a fan of star wars, and i change my gamestyle so it wont end up being boring and repetitive.... i like the guns a lot, about as much as Half-Life's guns, and Half-Life was my favorite deathmatch game before Jedi Outcast (if this was just as fast as Half-Life).. but even without light saber i like this game more, and i especially like the rocket launcher (thankfully not as spammy as UT's rocket launcher), disruptor rifle and thermal detonators.. but i would say 70 % of the time i play with saber only, because those moves are so fun (especially the special move of red style) and because rolling is possible only with saber, and i also like to use the move where you dive forwards (forwards + release and jump at the same time) and hit with the saber in the middle of the dive movement

I wasn't really hyped on using the sabre in JO, but once I got into it, I couldn't go back. I use the disruptor for sniping, and the rockets for AT-STs but that's it. Although I did use the sabre in JK, I didn't use it nearly as much.

I got the game because a friend showed me the trailers. Once I saw the Saber in action, I *knew* I had to have this!
