HELP! Can't find Jan in Doomgiver

I need some help. This is my 1st time doing this but I just haven't a clue right now. I'm in the Doomgiver detention place, up til now I found this level to be not so bad. I'm to the point where I use the mind trick to get the officer to open the door, so he opens it and there's nothing. I mean I go through the door expecting Jan to be in there and nothing. I've retraced my steps through out the entire level and even restarted it from the beginning thinking I left something out, but i haven't been able to find anything of the sort. Hopefully someone can give a little helpful insite as to where i need to go and how i get there to find jan.

you were really close, Jan is where you mind trick the guy, in the far left door if I remember right, (there is four doors to cells)

like i said i did the mind trick thing to the officer and the big door opened and i went in, but that was the only door that opened. i used the noclipping code and looked around and still couldn't find her.. is there another way to open a door?

must have been a glitch in my game or something, i restarted my computer and started playing again and i was able to open the cell door. thats messed up.
