Ok guys, lets crack the dbl saber

Guy's, i've come to the assumption that there has to be a way obtain the dbl saber in single player mode. Maybe not through a cheat, but at least through a lightsaber model that looks like a dbl saber..... could someone start making some cool saber models? -afx:jawa

There is already a cheat. It doesn't come to mind immediately, but I've seen my friend do it (just been too lazy and didn't care enough to figure it out on my machine).

just turn cheats on and type /thedestroyer in the console

i dunno if it works for singleplayer or not

As of right now, it's not possible. When they release the SDK, it'll definitely be possible. The only thing "physical" (meaning the only thing modeled) on a lightsaber is the hilt itself. The blade is made out of images that are modified with the game code and stuck on the end of the hilt. With the SDK, it'd be a simple task to make a mod to add a second blade. Without it, it just ain't gonna happen unless there's a super secret code that nobody knows about.

 

 

And the cheat that Aero is referring to (\thedestroyer) only works in multiplayer because it's only coded into the multiplayer exe. The singleplayer exe doesn't have it.
