Thenolos
Well... I put some more newbieriffic effort into skinning and completely redid my confederate soldier skin from the ground up. This new skin may look similar, but I put tons of more effort into it as well. I also got a lot of practice with shadows and the like. I am reasonably happy with the way they turned out... You might think differently... oh well. More screenshots and downloads can be found at ( http://www.geocities.com/anthony_boes/ ). So what are your opinions? Tems
dandy. johnny reb looks great. few comments tho: the blood from the arm bandage on the confederate is too blurred and soft. it would be a bit more abrupt or else he wouldnt be wearing the bandage still. im a tad unsure about the kepi. does it have a wire frame in there? im no anerican civil war buff, but it seems the kepis didnt have that sort of wire framework that the skin alludes to. the northerner's blood, same comment, plus it looks a little too pink on that blue. both blood (both pppl) would be darker and more abrupt. finally, the only other thing is i recall the belt buckes commonly being eliptical and brass. its hard to tell what those are. its likely just a form im not familiar with. again, im not ACW buff. looks great tho. keep it up. -Tems
