GreyJedi
Possibility: Since Kyle renounces his connection to the force, and goes back to his mercenary ways, he rejoins Jan, and leaves Mara to ponder the mysteries of the force.
Covax
It would have been cool as a secret in the Vavin temple where you'd be able to see Luke having a saber-training session with Mara.

Wes Janson SMR
One: Mara was never Kyle's "apprentice". And Two: probably not in the game's timeline.
GRIMLOCK
oye it is in the games timeline, otherwise Kyle wouldve still been using the force as he was at the end of JK1. MoTS was where he dropped it wasn't it? after the run in with the dark side and all...
Jedi_Monk
Is Mysteries of the Sith still available anywhere in any form? I've been kicking myself for the last four years for not getting it.
Wes Janson SMR
No. What I'm saying is that Mara and Kyle didn't have a teacher-student relationship. And during the timeline of the games, Mara still had emotional angst(?) against Luke, and therefore wouldn't want to spar with him just for the heck of it. Schizophrenic
Mara was never a student of Kyle's. She merely stayed with him for a short time to keep her skills up without having to be near Luke. MotS is probly still available in one of the Lucasarts game packs.
enDless_Deliriu
Alright, near as I can figure, Jedi Knight II takes place approximately during the time of the Jedi Academy Trilogy and I, Jedi. But basically, why don't you see Mara? Mara is a BUSY woman with other things to do. Either she is doing what she was doing during those books I mentioned above (basically, helping Corran Horn with finding his wife among other things), or she was off with Talon Karrde running the Smugglers Alliance. While it'd have been cool to see her, she does have other stuff to do. It's also why we don't really see Han or Leia, they are also very busy people at this time frame. Luke, while busy, is busy at the temple and with the Jedi (why you see him there) and Lando..well, Lando is always doing his own schemes so it's not surprising that he'd pop up anywhere. Wes Janson SMR
Heehee.. Yeah, Lando's pretty funny when you think about it. He's got his hands in everything, and he's always the charmer. Billy Dee's still got it.
