Record a Demo?

Is it possible to record your own demos? Im thinking it is since it offers the ability to play them but...how the heck do you record one? Thanks

Look in the jk2mpconfig.cfg for:

 

seta g_synchronousClients "1"

 

if its not there add it then go to console {shift} and {~}

 

type record {name you want it called}

 

 

after go to console and type stop.

DOH I must be stuck on stupid...I entered the commands as written and I got no error messages when I used record game1...but nothing was written anywhere that I coulkd find? If I may ask, could you or someone else pretend Im a complete editing idiot and explain again...thanks in advance!

Ok, Try it this way...

 

Open your console {shift} and {~}

 

Type: /g_synchronousClients 1

 

(i don't remember if the proceeding slash "/" is the right way or is required:confused: )

 

anyway.. Then Type: record {name you want it called}

 

It will say recording . Close the console, Play, Then open console.

 

Type: stop

 

Now if you go to Play movies you will see your masterpiece.

what can be done about it being so jerky. is everyones that way or just mine. i tried to record a demo while playing on the internet and it was like i was trying to play at 10 frames a second. was really jerky. wasnt lag either.

There is a lag problem using it on the net. I just saw on http://www.jediknightii.net that there is a script that will work for all. Its on the front today.
