Had a bunch of problems getting JKO running on my system... finally got MP to work by setting everything to Medium... but those same settings cause SP to still freeze.. matter of fact, even lower settings don't help either. The system is a PIII 800Mhz, 256MB RAM, GeForce2 video card, Aureal sound card. Running Win98SE, DX8.1, recommended nVidia drivers (whatever Raven posted.. can't remember the numbers), and latest Aureal drivers. Any hints? This will all change in a couple weeks when my new system comes in... hopefully the new one will have zero problems. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fLeM911 Posted April 12, 2002 Share Posted April 12, 2002 i've posted like 10 times about this problem and have never gotten anything useful out of this.... good luck finding the answer..... im hoping for a patch or update for the game. if only lucasarts had have made it by themselves then it probably woulda worked on anything... in your case i'd just return the game.... i can run it with fully maxed settings in multiplayer and the game is incredibly well done. gameplay is OK. but if you can't get singleplayer to work, and you can't run multiplayer at full settings then just return it.
