ok guys - any tips for defeating dessan - he is one tough dude

If you are really having trouble battling him with your saber (Don't try using any weapons except the Saber or explosives as he avoids them) use the pillars in the room.

 

They can be destroyed using your saber, and will fall down, killing both you and Dessan if they hit either of you.

 

So, just lure him close, knock it down onto him, and Voila, you win.

Use the same as me... force speed when attacking, attack only when he throws his saber, but do it quickly, don't stay and let him grip or push you down. keep moving, and when the beem in middle of the arena goes on, jump into it, use your lighting Desann and then run again again, just continue doing that.
