sp saber combat vs. mp (idea!)

I've just been informed that some of the saber clashing effects/animations were removed from the mutiplayer due to lag reasons. I noticed that the sp saber battles (against reborn, etc) feel exactly like the movie, if i play the same reborn bot in mp, the battle is much more clumsy. Would it be possible to add these effects back in mp when the sdk is released? It seems like it'd make online saber battles much more cool/fun!
