jmcmike
Hello, I would like to set up a linux dedicated server on my web server. I have read the posts in this forum regarding what sort of bandwidth usage to expect so far as K/sec and so on, but what do you dedicated server admins find is the actual bandwith consumed over a week or month? I ask because I assume (perhaps incorrectly) that although an 8 player server may require as much as 35-50 K/sec, there might be times of the day when the server is more idle than others. So I am more interested in the big picture. This is important to me because I pay by the Gigabyte/month. Thanks for any help you can offer. HellfireSK
MRTG. A 2-week sample should give you all the data you need.
