obijonkenobi
I am thinking of restarting Jedi Outcasts single player game again from scratch but this time play it co-op by adding a couple of good Jedi's into the first level to help out. Luke, Female Jedi, 2nd Jedi, and the Jedi Trainer. (This will give 5 differant sabre colours: green, yellow, orange, and purple respectively - plus my blue one when I get to the trial grounds). My question is this: If I spawn them in the first level, will they stay with me automatically when I move on the next level and so on... My second question (asuming the answer of the first Q was they will stay on with the next levels automatically) is if I quicksave it before turning off the game, will they return when I load the quicksave to continue the fight later on? Thanks for the input any of you forumers may have to post Cheers mate!
70-228
They don't stay with you. Also it causes random crashes. And sometimes they are too stupid to keep up. The most reliable to keep up with you are luke and the jeditrainer. And make sure you quick save a lot as it is possible (hard settings too hard for me so I got a little help ). It's a pity you don't interact with friendly npcs as a matter of design. Some of the best bits of MOH:AA were the npcs that you travelled with. I was hoping Jan would be the same in JK2 but she was less than useless as you've found out.
Digital_Ronin
I must say that I'm not all too sad about not having more interactive allies. Why? Well, I already had my problems with that in EliteForce, since your AI team members tend to have the intelligence routine of an average C&C1 Tiberium Harvester. Ok, the JO one seems to be a bit better but still... Plus you have to watch closely where you swing that saber of yours - since those people stay really close to you most of the time. So I'm quite happy that you don't have to watch out for some goons accompanying you more than a few times during JediOutcast. But that's just my own humble opinion... 70-228
Well to be fair if they WERE supposed to hang around more then they'd fix the AI for it. The MOH ones aren't too bad (alright a bit dim but these things are getting better).
