Hemi-Cuda Posted April 12, 2002 Share Posted April 12, 2002 with the original JK, all that was really available were custom skins, because there were no 3do editors to my knowledge (or if they were, they were damm near impossible to use) but now that JK2 is on the q3 engine, custom Models are very feasible (just go to http://www.planetquake.com/polycount to see what i mean). i'm pretty sure that a standard q3 model editor could make JK2 models just the same (as long as JK2 stuck with the .md3 format) after playing Q3 for so long and building up my custom model collection quite nicely, i never wanna to back to the whole "skins only" thing of JK course JK2 is still very early in its life, and i know it takes time to make a good model, but i hope some start showing up soon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
