connecting to MP lan game crashes PC

Hi everyone,

hope someone can help me...

 

every time i try to connect to a MP game my system gets completely stuck!

I'm able to host a multiplayer game but nobody would find me....

 

System is a 1,2GHz Athlon /512 MB SDRAM/GF2 PRO 32DDR

and I've got no other networking probs

(other games work fine/pc's find each other)

 

please give me a hint what I could try,

I've been trying all graphic modes but that doesn't seem to be the problem....
