boxxxie
i just reinstalled the game because of this problem, and it isn't fixed. when i goto the multiplayer screen and press "get new list" or whatever the button may be called, nothing happens. the blinking yellow text appears saying that it is getting info from the master server, but that is it! i've waited more than 10 minutes for the list to appear, and it hasn't... i haven't seen the list since i first played a multiplayer game, which was yesterday. i have cable internet, and i have played in a multiplayer game on this machine before, i dono why it's not working anymore. reinstalling didn't work, can someone please help me out my specs are: Tbird 1.4Ghz windows XP (just got updates today, to try and fix the prob aswell) radeon 8500 (latest offical drivers, got them before the problem started, but the problem didn't occur before i got them) 80gig maxtor HD 5400 i'm going to switch back my drivers for my radeon right now, but i don't know what they would have to do with this kind of a problem. i'm going insane over this
boxxxie
problem solved... i dono WTF ATI did with the new offical drivers... but they somehow were able to screw up the way the server list loads... or something. anyway, 6018 drivers work fine... what a wasted day of non-gaming. geist
Sorry, i'm not familiar with ATI but it seems we have a similar problem. I cant get anything on our LANs server list. How exactly did you remedy the problem, was it a driver issue?
gravioli
I have this problem over a T1 LAN as well. However, I am using a Nvidia card with the 23.11 Nvidia drivers. Therefore, I don't think it's a problem with the ATI drivers.
