geist
We have a LAN of 2 PCs both using: GeForce one titanium and one GeForce1 DDR, LAN cards are Cnet Pro200 and Netgear. This problem is similar to one of the earlier posts. We have a perfect connection, our PCs appear in the network neighborhood and we can LAN with other games. But in JK2 the game just doesnt appear in the list. theres a yellow flashing text that says "getting info" and it just blinks forever. the game just doesnt appear in the server list of the other computer. Can anyone help me please? Ive reinstalled the LANcard drivers and no changes.

Sigg3
Well, I use this system: 450mhz 256MB SDRAM 3dfx Voodoo3 3000 10/100 LAN connection And the other one: 1,7 Ghz 256mb SDRAM Geforce 2 MMX 10/100 LAN connection So, there's no problem in running the games themselves, but I can't find anything. So, suddenly (when the other PC was hosting) I fool around and got his IP, added him to my favourites and SUDDENLY he was on my list. IP.IP.IP.IP:Port... BUT, following was very frustrating: when i joined the game waited to connect to the game and there was a kind of "connect rate" second-timer. And it kept going...10 secs....20 secs... untill I disconnected... There's no doubt there's some kind of flaw here. So if ANYBODY find out a way to make this work, let me know about it. And also: Thanks to the board for letting me know about programs as Wicked GL and how to make 3dfx work with all the new games around. A happy fragger (but nerd) like me are much obliged! Thanks Again! - Sigg3
FuSiOn
we shouldnt have to join through IP because that is slow......the network games should just show up on the local screen like any other internet games do. Something has to be wrong. Has anyone got a game on their LAN to work?
