Level 4 (mine) lockup on loading

Hi

 

I've just got to level 4(?) - climbing onto a monorail car and riding off down the mine. Then the end-of-level screen comes up and the new level starts loading. The blue loading bar gets all the way to the right, but... nothing. I've tried leaving it for half an hour, but the new level doesn't start.

 

I've tried it with 'Fastest' video settings. I've also tried reinstalling the game.

 

I have a Pentium 4 1.8Ghz, with 384Mb RAM, a Matrox 450eTV 32Mb graphics card, running XP.

 

Has anyone had, or heard of, the same problem? Any suggestions?

I have never heard of this happening but, you could try a code to get to the next level and see of that works. First hit Shift, and holding that down hit ~. The console should pop up. Type devmapall and hit enter. Don't be worried if you don't see any conformation that this did anything, this is normal. Then type: map artus_detention. (Yes without the period) I hope this works for you.
