My first skin attempt

Well, here's my first (possible only?) attempt at a skin. Of course I couldn't find my photoshop cd, so I used Star Office instead (which isn't much better than MS Paint). Since I can't draw anything anyway, I just did some coloring

 

 

OK, so, should I even bother packing that thing up and submitting it?

Woo hoo! I'd been wondering if you could do an anime-style skin without a new model...guess that answers my question.

 

This skin would look absolutely wretched in a regular game...but can you imagine if somone went and made every single major character in anime style? You know...bright pastel colors, huge eyes, etc. Though, even better would be entire SD style models. "Whoa! Chibi Jan just killed Chibi Kyle!"

 

Oh, and nearly forgot...if you're going to do pastel colored skins, do the entire things. So do the pants and boots too. Sure, it'll probably give someone a seizure, but that's the price we pay.

hehe... i was just thinkin bout the pants.... bright green maybe? I think I might do a whole skin pack of most of the models. Not too hard, since I'm not drawing anything new (except the damn eyes).

Just be sure to make them in seperate folders, and NOT replacements...I don't think even I could take *that.*

At first glance, I didn't like the middle finger...but considering this goes against every single skin done so far, it actually fits pretty well.

 

My advice is to rock on and keep it going.
