Usurper Posted April 14, 2002 Share Posted April 14, 2002 Hello all.... Is there a way to make it so commands load up every time you run the SP game? Like an autoexec file of some sort? I want to run these commands every time I play without having to input them manually every time I load the game.... helpusobi 1 g_saberrealisticcombat 3 g_dismemeberment 1 If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. PurplWulf Posted April 14, 2002 Share Posted April 14, 2002 create a text file in your Base directory and name it autoexec.cfg then add the commands you want to autoload when you start a game. the only caution is this: it auto loads for both SP and MP, so make sure the commands you put into the config, are ones you don't mind loading in BOTH styles. I made the mistake of adding my MP control commands to the file and when I loaded up SP I couldn't do anything I was used to for my SP controls. the purple one Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It will add it to jk2config.cfg. After checking, it also seems to add it to jk2mpconfig.cfg. Irimi-Ai Posted May 4, 2002 Share Posted May 4, 2002 ok, i've known about autoexec's for a long time, but mine never seem to load!! if i exec it from the console, it works fine. what the hell am i doing wrong? it's in the base directory, and only has two lines in it (so it doesn't exceed the autoexec.cfg size limit). aarrgghhhhhh!
