ok guys It worked for me and it should work for you..

 

1. go into you jedi outcast gamedata\base

 

3. copy/make a backup of the jk2mpconfig.cfg file somewhere

 

2. open your jk2mpconfig.cfg with WORDPAD (not NOTPAD)

 

3. scroll down until you find these lines..

 

seta sv_master5 ""

seta sv_master4 ""

seta sv_master3 ""

seta sv_master2 ""

 

4. after master2, or anywhere else, I dont this it matter add this new line

 

seta sv_master "masterjk2.ravensoft.com"

 

5. Save the file

 

6. Start your multiplayer server!!!!

 

7. (optional) go in console (Shift-tilde) and type "heartbeat" without the quotes to send an update to the server.

when in game, type SV_MASTER in console and make sure it worked.. you can always change it on the fly in console and type in heartbeat to update

Doesn't help in the slightest. I just tried a ping to masterjk2.ravensoft.com and it can't find the server. It also times out to master.ravensoft.com.

 

This is really starting to get on my nerves! I seriously hope this is fixed soon.

Nope...doesn't work...I can ping to that server but I did all the above and also checked in the console with sv_master but my game still doesn't show up in the Internet list. This has got to be a major bug that I hope they fix with a patch.
