Gameon
I'm experiencing an interesting problem when playing multiplayer on a server or playing against bots. The timing varies, but EVERY time I start playing, the game runs smoothly for about 1-5 minutes and then it crashes back to the main multiplayer many and displays the following error: CL_ParsePacketEntities End of message I've been able to succesfully finish the single player and it did not exhibit this problem at all. I'm at a loss. I've tried several video settings and game types, but the problem desists on the multiplayer. Any help is greatly appreciated. Gameon
Right. We'll I do HAVE the cd, but it's quite normal for me to administer the no-cd crack (when available), because it's quite annoying to carry around all the cd:s I use. I mean... what would my co-workers say if I carried a bunch of cd:s to work everyday? Anyways. Thanks for the answer! It seemed to work after I reinstalled the game without the nocd. I wonder if these are related . Like when it checks for a cd. Originally posted by littletotem I bought 2 copies of outcast and started to play . Game runs nice and smooth. Till we get "Connection interupted" I have 2 systems connected by a single hub going to a cable modem. Both systems are windows ME. Both systems have the newest directx installed and all driver updates. Everytime about 5 minutes into the game either connection drops or we get a major slow down. I have tried the local multiplayer and the internet version but both come back with the same error. One more thing , when i go back to re-enter the game it's no longer there. I know the game is still running because i see running on the computer next to mine. Also we have changed which computer was being the server, same issue there to. It seems like the server drops but the user playing on the server doesn't get any feed back to this. Ok also, went threw and removed and old adapters which where no longer needed. Like old modems, ect. I can play other games fine . So any feed back could be helpful. Oh, our ip addresses are issued via our isp. Now , both my systems have the cd in the cd-rom drive. I wonder if the error above comes when it looks for the cd , while playing and running as a server.
