Tems
i just threw together some more textures. these are going to be used for some various pieces of cargo on my tatooine map. the text is in trade huttese and v___ something from another sci-fi series. i likes how the font looked so i used it. i have much more cargo textures that i'll be making for use as prefabs around my map. once the map is done these will be available if other people decide to use them. couple quick notes. the detail on the textures is far from complete. i still have to add wear and rust as well as some colour variation. tell me what you think. -Tems

BlackDragon
Question - are you making them as "prefabs" or "mapobjects"?
Tems
prefabs. there's really no point in using models when i can use detail brushes. -Tems
UniKorn
The lighting => dodge & burn ?
Tems
well, so far, the only effects i've used are lighting effects and noise. i made the lightmap in flash and then brought it into photoshop as an alpha channel. i'll be adding rust and other damage, and i'll use some colour dodge and colour burn for that, among other things. these are VERY early stages just to get the spacing/ideas down. -Tems
