Uber boWman
I have a Radeon 32mb SDR ok it aint the ebst card in the world but it runs the game nice and smoothly. However, the graphics seem not to be formed!! They are fine when my character is near them but the textures further away are not formed (like the nice polished skin isnt there). When my character gets closer they form but it really takes the shine off the game!! Any solutions?!?!

The_BZA
2 things control what textures look like at a distance, the choice of antistropic filtering levels and the degree of texture filtering u choose to run (trilinear or bilinear) ALSO the amount of video memory you have (in your case 32 MB) modern cards have a minimun of 64 MB with the newer GeForce 4's having 128. Â to SOLVE your problem, get a new card...do DEAL with your problem at the sacrifice of REALLY LOW framerates, crank up texture detail and go to trilinear filtering. but the game will be almost unplayable with those settings enabled on your current card. look out. Uber boWman
Well ive fixed the textures from afar being all rubbish but there is this other problem i would appreciate some help on. It is that there seems to be colour everywhere as in colours replacing shadows and so on. Also the faces and bodies of characters have black squares all over them !!! WTF is going on and how can i fix it!?
dravin1911
Hey this is a shot in the dark...but there is a line in your config file for multiplayer that says something like "ignorefastpath" and you set 1 or 0...1 is default, so if you haven't changed it like I did, then this won't help you at all, but if you set it to 0 and forgot about it, put it back on 1...I found a setting of 0 to cause all sorts of weird graphical problems..it was kinda cool for the first few minutes though, everyone's skin was a trippy looking texture that constantly moved really fast
Uber boWman
Well it is still on 1 but while i was looking through i saw this line : seta r_textureMode "GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR" and seen as this is all to do with textures could any of u see if ure texture mode line is the same i have a suspicion that it is something to do with GL!
