I would like to know if I will be able to run JO with any level of enjoyment with the following configuration

PII 266 MHz

320MB RAM

VISIONTEK XTASY 5864 GEFORCE2 TI 64MB AGP W/ TV OUT RETAIL

I haven't bought the card yet, but if someone out there is running JO with a similar config, I will consider buying it. If not, I'll just have to wait for a new computer.

Thanks everyone.

Not really, unless by cut it you mean running it at minimal resolution and graphic detail. The game is CPU intensive, my Athlon 750 with 256MB ram is brought to its knees in any outside area, period. By today's standard, my computer is old and should be replaced, yours is not going to get along with JK2 very well.

If you dont mind running everything on medium detail at most then you should be ok, but it will get rather chopy when alot of enemies are around, or when your in a level with allot of detail like the yavin swamps. Im running on a 333mhz comp with 96 mb ram and a ati radeon 7200 (i actually bought this for my other computer a pentium 3 but tried running it on this one and it worked fine). I think in single player mode im running the game on 16 bit textures but in multiplayer it works well with 32bit. my loading time are pretty good except some levels take a bit longer then others but id say about a minute at average two at most.

please no mocking of my computer :D
