How to take a screenshot?

I can't for the life of me find the key, is it a bind? Any help is greatly appreciated.

"screenshot" is the proper command for taking a screenshot, you can bind it to any key you want using the console, for example "bind f12 screenshot".

but there's also a command called "screenshot silent". the "silent" wording keeps the game from displaying the screenshot has been taken language so you get a nice clear picture without any wording on it.
