Changing the Transparent color for light sabers

I have been trying to make a black sword modle for a light saber.... however black seems to be the defalt transparent color in the game how do i change this.

Use a very dark gray for your sword instead. Try a texture with 250 250 250 as the base color or 0x f9 f9 f9. No one will be able to tell the difference between that and black.
