HellfireSK
With the near-invisible release of 1.02c today it's becoming more and more clear that we (the admins and hosts) must become more proactive if we ever wish to see Raven address the concerns we have. Email is all fine and good, but the only way to "prove" a point is to flood, and that quickly becomes counter-productive. Message boards are great for archives of helpful tips, but they rarely convey cogent thoughts in a form a dev wants to read. As a rule if you don't have a problem you're not going to search 8 pages of threads to discover the 3 problems other people have. Over the last few days I've popped into the #jediknight.uk channel on QuakeNet, seems to me that it's the easiest place to congregate and attempt to hash out an action plan for Raven. I like this game, I wouldn't play or host if didn't. That said I feel very strongly that it's not all it could be. Let's take the initiative and let Raven know exactly what we collectively know and make the game better. -h
