nasty german version

Hi im from germany. the problem is that they changed the german version of jkii in a nasty way. we are not allowed to cut heads, arms or legs from our enemies with the lightsaber. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I am from Germany too and i found a way.Go to http://www.blutpatches.de and you can find a patch at the size of neary 600-700kb and download it.It will enable dismembering in JO SP.Have fun.And let me say one more thing I HATE GERMAN VERSIONS OF THE GAMES!!! I REALLY HATE!!!

Thanx for your hints, but unfortunately http://www.blutpatches.de disabled the downloads due to traffic problems and http://www.jk2-world.de has problems with their mySQL database, so none of them can offer the patch.

 

I really need it badly, so I would appreciate any help.

Ich hab das hier mal auf ner seite gerfunden habs aber bisher nciht getestet aber vielleicht gehts ja

 

1. Im Instalationsordner in das Verzeichnis "GAMEDATA/BASE" wechseln

 

2. Die Datei "jk2config.cfg" in einem Texteditor öffnen

 

3. Die Einträge "seta ui_iscensored 1" und "seta sp_language 2" auf "0" ändern

 

4. Datei speichern

 

5. Rechtsklick auf die Datei

 

6. "Eigenschaften" auswählen, dann bei "Schreibgeschützt" das Häkchen setzten

 

7. Spiel starten

 

8. In den Optionen die Sprache und Text wieder auf Deustch setzten und Teilungen aktivieren

 

9. Spiel beginnen

 

10. Im Spiel auf ECS drücken

 

11. Wieder in die Optionen gehen, Teilungen nochmals aktivieren

The wanted patch cracks the executable and/or game DLL.

thanx for your help Saugie.. I tried it, and it worked (after I did helpusobi 1 in the console to enable cheats.. )

 

I could not really figure out when it worked and when not, sometimes I had to type the cheat command again, and again, but then it worked!

 

Nevertheless I hope that there will be an easier way to implement it..

It worked for me. But I had the problem to find the option in the game. It was invisible. But, when you move the cursor over it, it appears. Try it out, it´s in the menu, where you can choose your language.
