Name Color?

How in the world do you change the color of your name? i've seen red blue green, shadows and other stuff

 

I know its probally bin posted and answer a million times but the search function isnt working so i have no way to search these forums.

 

please dont slap me down I just want an answer then i'll shutup

1)Once on a server press escape and go to player

 

2)delete your name

 

3)press and hold shift , then press 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 (depending on what colour you want)

 

4)Then type and there you have it
