NOOOOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!'

BAH! My piece'o crap provider has done something screwy to my email account.. so I can't submit the file to JKII.net yet...

I have a free email account as well.. but it's just over their fricking size limit!!!!

Was gonna try and get it submitted right before I left and have the URL for my temp download site, but as is I gotta run.. And the sad thing is it's in a nice and neat zip file waiting to be sent. Wish I hade just 5 more minutes to upload it.....

Oh well.. I gotta go to work now. Talk to you guys later.

Hmm...

While the skin has been done well, I would consider it a design-failure regardless...

The skin's belly-part is apparently Giger-style...as may be the back...But the rest of his armor/suit does not at all fit to that.

The back part is worst, though...

The used design does not look "correct" in any of his poses.

And it is not as beautifully detailed as the belly.

No matter what...The texture on his back looks like someone has drawn onto his shirt, so to say.

Do not feel offended, infinity_blade...

I only mean to give helpful criticism.

You have done some good work, but the composition appears "hurried".

Time and patience may have done more of that skin.

I only take the time to say this because I am convinced you can do better.

Well, to each their own I say. While it may not have gone as well as it could, the skin meets my visions of it. I was looking to make an evil kyle reminicent of the evil fantasy warriors of swords and sorcery, while overall remaining sci fi and have the original flavor of dark kyle from JK.

As far as the abdomen, it's more meant to be leather padding in this appllication of the texture, with metal plates attached in a muscle arrangement around it.

And as far as detail? It's just the shadowtrooper back and front with some reworking of one line of detail between plates. I felt it fit my purposes well enough, it just depends on how you look at it, and what styles you prefer.

Basically... a blending of Dark Kyle, Sci Fi, Fantasy, Evil, with a wash of simplicity over it.

And while it was rushed, (two days from start to finish with other skins all the while), I feel the design was implemented how I want and looks it good.

Maybe failure to you, myself and some others feel it's not, and that's all the success I need right now. It's all a matter of opinion, and I respect yours and it is helpful when designing... I had more myself in mind when designing it, and it's much easier to stray from what everyone will like when doing that.

I've also learned a lot of techniques to use for JO skinning, and am rather proud of the results for not having skinned JK skins for over 2 years and then doing this while working on others in 2 days.

But besides it all...

I'm happy with it. :)
