Lucreto Posted April 17, 2002 Share Posted April 17, 2002 Well ive been trying to use one of the sabers off this website, but i wanted to change the lightsaber hilt not the energy part of the saber anyways i put it all into a pk3 my new skin of the lightsaber hilt and the lightsaber effects that i had extracted from another pk3 i had all the subfolders too but when i try it it dosent work ..... can anyone help? Vandori Posted April 17, 2002 Share Posted April 17, 2002 Let's try this in stages. You've made your skin. (For example, a replacement for luke) So you take all the files (luke_face.jpg, etc) and put them into a zip. You rename this zip to .pk3 and put it in your gamedata/base folder... In this PK3 you should have a directory structure which is the same as what's in the assets0.pk3. For example luke would be, in the pk3: models/players/luke For the saber, it might be models/weapons/saber, or something similar. If it's not working, make sure to check all the subdir names so that they match up. That's about all I can help with. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
