LaVarious
Is there a way to export demos you create to either an mpeg or quicktime?
Joruus
There was a way in Q3A to recording demos directly to an avi file. I think the cvar was /cl_avidemo 1 Then you'd just record a demo as normal. But the file wouldn't be a dm52 file, it would record as an avi. Least this seems to be a memory thats jumping up and down in the back of my mind trying to get my attention. If this isn't the case, another way to do it is to run a digital video out (you have to have a video card that has one) line to your VCR, then once you've recorded the footage, loop the VCR back into your digital video in port, and use a video editing program to compress the footage into an avi or mpeg format. Something tells me theres an easier way to do this....I wish I could remember more about the avidemo cvar.
DarthCobra
cl_avidemo 1 is going to give u 1 fram per second. I personally use 25 or 30 myself.. NOTE: this makes the game totally unplayable. Set it to cl_avidemo 0 to stop
