If it is, just make sure you take a running jump and hold down the jump key the whole time you are in the air. You will get a lot more distance that way and should have no problem. Also, you have some mobility in the air so you have to keep pushing forward then adjust direction as necessary. This should help you out. If you still have problems, check to see if you're foce jump has increased to level 2. I saw another post where someone claimed they still only had jump level 1 when it should have advanced just before this level. Not sure what caused that but he said he had used cheat codes which might have caused problems. STAY AWAY FROM CHEATS.
