Doing Animations in multiplayer, how?

Is it possible to do animations in multiplayer, like, the cartwheel just for show? I tried Valley of the Jedi forums and havent gotten any help. I tried doing bind j "BOTH_CARTWHEEL_LEFT" as it is in the animation.cfg, but no luck. Any help?

As far as we know, it can't be done. We've all sifted through each command, and there seems to be none that plays off any animation that you type.

 

However... Someone out there is experimenting with binding animations to keys with some kind of hack. Unfortunately, he's nowhere to be found - let alone sharing anything with us.

 

But other than that, you can't.

 

That is, unless you're willing to hack into the animations config yourself, and "switch" rolling and flipping animations for the cartwheel and butterfly.
