You'll go invisible to the one(s) you target (? this is my experience, and I must say I usually don't use it cuz I suck with it). In general, if you can use it against someone, they go beserk with the saber, trying not to die, or they run. Sometimes they'll whip out a Heavy Repeater and attempt to find you via splash damage (they can see your shield when you are hit). As for attacking in it, I have found a little success in sniping at Massassi Temple, and some more in heavy stance~jump slashing your victim.
