Questions regarding forces...

Im relatively new to the game and Im still learning the Force but I got some pure newb questions.

 

Absorb- what does it do and how do I use it? (I know how to turn it on)

 

The dark red hand the dark jedi use where they always drop me off the bridges. I use it but I never been able to to choke anyone let alone drop them off a ledge.

Look int the Rules area of the Multiplayer menu. You should find all you need to know about how force powers work in MP. As for the choke issue. There are several ways it can be countered. First off, you have to be relatively close for it to work. Second, as long as the potential victim isn't taking any action like swinging or using a force power themselves, they have a resistance to being chocked. While being choked, the victim can use force puch to get out of it. Lastly, if you want to be able to drop people off ledges with choke, you have to put full points into it so it will be a level 3 choke. Hope this helps you out.
