SP Sabercolor change mod

I've made enough modifications to JO that it almost is perfect. the only thing left is that i still have to pull down the console and type sabercolor orange at the beginning of every map. does anyone know what file i need to alter and in what way, so that it "permanently" changes the color of my saber in single player?

p.s. i've tried editing npcs.cfg and giving kyle and munro orange sabers. it didn't work. On an offhanded subject, can a mod a file to specify what color i want a bot's saber to be in MP? Luke with a blue saber? huh?

First off about a SP saber color mod.

However, there is a very simple text file that JO uses to keep track of the bots saber color etc.

If you extract the "assets0.pk3" you find a file labeled "bots.txt"

 

Inside that file will be a saber color reference for all the default bots in JO.

 

An example Bot reference goes as follows:

 

name "Desann"

model Desann

color1 0

personality /botfiles/Desann.jkb

// Desann is attached to Tavion

 

Where color1 0 is the saber color for said bot.

Currently all Lightside bots are set to 4 and all Darkside bots are set to 0

 

The colors go as follows:

 

0-red, 1-orange, 2-yellow, 3-green, 4-blue, and 5-purple

 

So changing the line in the above reference to from:

'color1 0' to 'color1 5' I would be giving Desann a purple saber to use.

 

There is/was another post somewhere around here about this same feature and I got my ideas from it. If you'd like I will send you the botfile I created/edited for my game.

Some of the customizations go as follows:

 

Grans have orange sabers

Luke has his infamous green

Tavion has orange

Shadowtroopers have blue
