enderWiggin6
ive been getting like 49fps with a timedemo of jk2ffa in 1024x768x32. i've got a radeon8500, win2k, 384mb ram, 1.4ghz athlon...and judging by the recent benchmarks posted for jk2, they say i should be getting over 100fps... is this normal performance? ender. Valdarious
For a timedemo yes. Timedemo is not the same as just seeing your normal FPS in the game. Timedemo shows a complete average of the whole demo. Where I normaly get about 64fps to 105fps I get a 39.1 on average on the timedemo.
seanconnery
http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/seanconneryisthebest I average 160 sans FSAA in singleplayer, and about 50 w/ 4X FSAA quality. Waaaaay overclocked, though. Peltierized/water-cooled system.
Valdarious
We mean FPS on a timedemo seanconnery, the fps number is always lower running it this way, but its a true test of the performance of your machine.
