Matt_K
Hey all, I was installing jk2 today on one of my computers, unfortunately I went away, and as most people know if you don't move the mouse in a while, the monitor will turn off. I couldn't get it to come back on so I presses reset. Anyway, here is the problem, when going back to install jk2 again, when i run setup, it says you first have to remove the previous installation of it, so i did that, but the same message keeps on coming up over and over again. I've manually deleted the jk2 folder and any registry entries the had jedi outcast in them, but the message still comes up. I'm guessing that there is a hidden file or reg entry somewhere that is telling the jk2 installer that it is allready installed when it isn't. So can somebody please help as this is crapping me off!!!! Thanks in advance

Miracleasd
it is down to registry entrys. try using add remove programs to uninstall whats left of jk2 (its alsways a bad idea to just delete directorys, use uninstallers whenever possible). if that doesnt work you will have to search through the registry and delete the referances manualy. outcast has lots of referances so something like norton windoctor should make it less painful. moral of this story is "use uninstall programs"
