Infinity Blade
I see that there are still a few trying to get skins to work in SP. Well, I know it's been covered by others and some seem to think it's far too complicated, so here I'm trying to give a simpler guide. I'm not sure if it's plain enough, but it tries to describe what is going on, but more importantly what you need to do in order to get them to work. Try this, see if it helps. If not, tell me what you don't understand. If it does help you, then at least come back and drop me a thanks. Go ahead and save the file to your harddrive if you wish. THIS GUIDE HAS BEEN UPDATED! DOWNLOAD IF YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLES. http://bobley5.tripod.com/spskins.txt Good luck guys.

PiousAugustus99
Hey infinity...sorry me agian heh... Anyways, when I replied to you I thought I had figured out the problem but for some reason it still does not work, I have a few possibilities of what I'm doing wrong, maybe you can help me confirm it...Thanks 1. Maybe the different skins don't work in Ladder level? 2. Do the names of the pk3 files in the base folder have to match up? For example, if the skin I used to change the SP skin is Ultimate_Maul.pk3, does the SPskin pk3 file have to be Ultimate_Maul.pk3? And btw, for reference here's what I have done... I have two pk3s, SPDesann.pk3 and SPKyle.pk3 which I have used WinRaR to compile into pk3 files in my base folder... For Desann, I used the Ultimate Maul model/skin and for Kyle, I used one of the many Dark Kyle skins...All four pk3's are in my base folder and the model_default.skin files are all edited accordingly and saved into the pk3 files. So far, I've just tried on the Ladder level with no music...Thanks, hope all this info helps you in creating a completely accurate tutorial...BTW, thanks again for writing up this tutorial in the first place. Hope you can help me :-(

PiousAugustus99
Hey Infinity, thanks a lot, btw I figured out the problem,, hope you can include it in your tutorial :-) Make sure that when you create the new folder that you are working with, that its *CREATED IN YOUR ROOT DIRECTORY!!!!* (I.E. C:, not C: Jedi Outcast/gamedate/base/etc...) This was a big ***** to me lol but Yeah, thanks a lot for all the help and EVERYONE should save this tutorial on their comp.. :-)
