Okay i have modeld a cutome saber at about 548 pollies

but any ways.. just some questions.. would i have to model the blade part? or is it a shader of some sort that adds by it self?

is there a tutorial on setting up a saber properly for jk2?

and sounds, do i get to choose sounds? or do they ahve to be default jk2 ones?? plz some help would be apreatied!

Well first off, you don't model the blade as it's added in the shaders. Second you might want to take a little time to look at the saber hilts already in the game. Download ModView and look over the parts and tags in the model.

i used the sof model viewe(read the anouncmetn)

but,.. i view tags in it.. there are 2, Flash. and Parent, Flash im guessing is where the blade comes out, and parent i dont know?

can any1 tell me?

also, i knwo how to place tags, but how would i label them?

after ig et my tags in, how would i export to glm, or what ever file i need in?

waht file type do i need it in exactly? glm, or md3?

how woudl i pak this up(i knwo how to make pk3, but folder structure?)

and then finally, where would i put this, and how would i use it?:confused:

i havnt tried it yet, but n the images it looks really cool(and i think i fiugred outb how to make the file tructure in a pk3 fomr yours)

but can u plz tell em how you added tags?

Sorry I don't know about tags, as this is just a skin which was applied over the original one, though I do seem to be having a problem with it now, I can see the model and original Reborn Lightsaber skin in-game but not the new skin I made, so if someone could give me some suggestions as to what is wrong with it that would be appreciated.
